This image is my triptych of New Orleans. The street car is a unique symbol of New Orleans that has been around for hundreds of years. Alos, the beads in the center represent Mardi Gras, which is the biggest holiday celebration of the New Orleans area. Lastly, the musicians represent the strong jazz roots within New Orleans. Jazz was born in New Orleans, and has been a great aspect of the city that makes it so unique.

With this assignment, I had to take the island girl out of her original setting on a beach. Therefore, I cropped her out of the background using Adobe Photoshop. Next, I used photoshop to take the red tint away from her face to make a clearer image. Ultimately, this made the island girl look more natural, and it is a truer picture.

For this assignment, I had to take two different pictures of a duck and a lake and combine the two layers to make one picture in Adobe Photoshop. I had to crop the ducky so that I could place it on top of the lake without have a white background with it. I then cropped the bottom of the ducky to make it look as if there were waves from the lake. I think my ducky in his lake is adorable!

I took this image and opened it in Photoshop. I then edited the photo to remove the age marks and fading without compromising the beauty of the age of the photo. I really enjoyed working on this photo because I was able to learn a lot of the techniques used to edit photos or images in Photoshop.

Self Portrait and Triptych

This image is my self portrait. This image diplays me daydreaming about becoming a news reporter, my life time goal. I am also studying in the library about journalism so that I can become a news reporter. Lastly, the present me is in grayscale to put emphasis on my goal of being a news reporter which is in color.
